Asthma on Dogs

Picture
Dog Asthma is a respiratory disorder that is described by wheezing. It is usually due to allergic reactions. When the breathing gets heavy, the dog needs a lot of effort to be able to breath; this is the reason why it has a fearful look in the face. One cause of this symptom is the chronic inflammation of the mucous membrane that blocks the respiratory passage. Asthma attacks can be really painful for the pet especially if it happens twice or even more. In cases like these, ask the veterinarian on how to calm and control the attack or ask how to at least ease the pain for the dog.

It is a great help for dogs keeping them from humidity and cold during respiratory distress, because prolonged exposure to these circumstances will just make the attack severe.
